Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group (Yili Group) won the second-place prize of the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award, which was announced on Nov 3.

The State Scientific and Technological Progress Award is an authoritative award granted by the State Council to citizens and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to scientific and technological progress.

Yili has established a global innovation network covering the world's leading R&D institutions. In 2020, Yili ranked as the third dairy company in the world in terms of total patent applications and invention applications worldwide.

In order to ensure that primary and secondary school students drink safe and nutritious milk, every pack of Yili QQ Star milk is produced in strict accordance with Chinese standards for student milk.

Yili has promoted the national milk program targeting students in 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country, with more than 5 million students drinking Yili milk products every day.

The company has also upgraded the "Yili Nutrition 2020" targeted poverty alleviation project, which has been implemented for four years, to the "Yili Nutrition 2030" platform-type public welfare project, bringing Yili milk to more children in need.
