Hohhot students get glimpse of local opera

A student learns to perform er ren tai on Nov 23. In Chinese, er ren tai literally means "two people on stage". It is a type of local opera performed by two singers: one male and one female. The production integrated the art form of er ren tai with Mongolian music in order to promote Mongolia's grassland culture. [Photo/CFP]
