Yili Dairy Capital Technology Demonstration Park made it onto the list of the first batch of National Civilized Tourism Demonstration Units, making it one of the 47 units to receive the honorable title, according to a notice from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The park is the only industrial tourist attraction in the country on the list. The park is a leader in the innovative development of the tourism industry and sets the standard for the industry.

It is owned and operated by Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co Ltd (Yili Group), which is headquartered in North China's Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and is the top dairy enterprise in China and the largest in Asia.

Since the start of industrial tourism in 2005, the park has been giving tours of Yili's healthy products' production process to the public.

At the Grassland Milk Culture Museum, visitors can systematically learn about the dairy history of China's northern nomads.

The Chilechuan Premium Milk Source Base offers visitors a chance to see how cows are fed, witness the modern milking process, and get a close look at pasture planting firsthand, and they can also interact with the calves.

In addition, visitors can also get an up-close look at production process of Yili's different products at the production plant. 

Yili's industrial tourism has developed a variety of characteristic tourism products such as government inspections, business exchanges, research practices, and leisure and tourism.

The group has successively carried out industrial tourism in its 32 production bases in places such as Beijing, Tianjin and Wuhan.

To date, Yili's headquarters and national industrial tourism factories have received 16 million tourist visits in total.
