A nameplate unveiling ceremony for two new centers in the Yili Modern Smart Health Valley – located in Hohhot city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – was held at the Yili Global Dairy Talent Training Center on Dec 3.
The two newly established centers are, respectively, the National Dairy Industry Metrology and Testing Center and the Dairy Vocational Training and Certification Center.
The former was jointly established by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Metrology and Testing Research Institute and Yili Group, while the latter was jointly established by Yili Group, the China Dairy Association and the China Dairy Industry Association.
The National Dairy Industry Metrology and Testing Center is reportedly the only one of its type approved by the State. Its aim is said to establish a comprehensive measurement standard and promote the innovation and development of the dairy industry.
Currently, the center has three modules – for industrial innovation and scientific research, public technical services and business development management.
The complex will reportedly focus on key common technologies, streamlined management, as well as the quality and efficiency control of the dairy industry.
Meanwhile, it will also reportedly strive to solve existing bottlenecks in the dairy industry in order to boost its high-quality development.
The Dairy Vocational Training and Certification Center is the first talent training platform to settle in the Yili Modern Smart Health Valley.
It is understood that the center will make full use of the expansive technical and management resources of the valley to provide vocational skills training and certification work for upstream and downstream enterprises in the dairy industry sector across the country.
