Hohhot's top political advisory body hosts annual session

The first session of the 14th Hohhot Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) was held in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Feb 9-12.
The concluding conference was attended by 313 political advisers, including Li Jiong, chairman of the CPPCC Hohhot Municipal Committee.
Li delivered the CPPCC Hohhot Municipal Committee's work report, reviewing efforts and achievements in 2021 and laying out plans for 2022.
The conference passed the resolution of the first session of the 14th CPPCC Hohhot Municipal Committee on the work report of the CPPCC Hohhot Standing Committee.
During the four-day session, 487 proposals by individuals, political parties and various organizations were collected, with 416 collected proposals put on record for further discussion and implementation.
The filed proposals involved issues such as economic, political, cultural, and social development, people's livelihoods, and environmental protection.
