Nine COVID-19 patients cured, discharged in Hohhot
The first batch of nine local COVID-19 patients in the latest round of the outbreak – residing in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – were pronounced cured and were discharged from hospital on Feb 24, according to local media reports.
The oldest were two aged 82, while the youngest was 19 years old. Three cases were diagnosed as being mild and six cases were common infections.
The recovered patients were transferred by ambulance to the Hohhot Chinese-Mongolian Hospital, a designated rehabilitation facility. There they will undergo 14-day health isolation and observation and will also receive rehabilitation training, psychological counseling, nutritional support and other treatment.
As of 14:00 on Feb 28, Hohhot city had reported a total of 366 local confirmed COVID-19 cases.
