Nucleic test from last 48 hrs needed to enter, leave Hohhot
All drivers and passengers using the highways to leave or enter Hohhot – capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – are required to present green health codes and negative nucleic acid test results, issued within 48 hours of departure.
The city has set up 52 highway inspection points, at which the results and health codes can be presented and where people can also have their temperatures taken.
All departing persons who do not meet the inspection requirements are advised to return, while all returning people shall be transferred and resettled in a timely manner.
For passengers leaving or entering Hohhot by air or railways, green health codes and body temperature measurements are required for those from low-risk areas, with an additional negative nucleic acid test result required for those from medium or high-risk areas.
As of 14:00 on March 1, a total of 385 confirmed local COVID-19 cases had been reported in Hohhot during this round of the epidemic outbreak. To date, 52 patients are understood to have been cured and discharged from hospital.
