Forging ahead, women help fight COVID-19 in Hohhot
March 8 marked the 112th International Women's Day – a day, like any other, when female role models were once again deeply engaged in providing vital COVID-19 prevention and control work in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
Xu Ying, who runs a nucleic acid sampling site, is lost in concentration as she goes about her work. Since the first round of nucleic acid testing in key areas on Feb 17, Xu has been in charge of the sampling site at the East Gate of the Qiushi Jingfenghui community.
