Stricter measures taken, Hohhot reports drop in COVID-19 cases
With stricter measures taken, Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, reported no new locally-transmitted COVID-19 cases on March 13, according to information released by the Inner Mongolia Health Commission.
On March 13, a total of 24 local confirmed cases were discharged from hospitals, including 20 in Hohhot, one in Baotou, two in Hulunbuir, and one in Bayannuur.
As of 24:00 on March 13, there were 60 locally-transmitted cases in Inner Mongolia – 32 in Hohhot, 15 in Baotou, eight in Hulunbuir, three in Ordos, and two in Alshaa League.
As of March 14, Hohhot has no high-risk areas and 16 medium-risk areas.
