North China's Hohhot city signs up 712 projects in 2021
Hohhot city, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, made marked progress in promoting investment in the area, with a total of 712 projects signed up in 2021, according to a report in the Hohhot Daily.
Among the signed projects, 245 have reportedly started construction.
Plans are for Hohhot to continue to be a frontrunner in the area and sign up more high-quality developments in 2022. The metropolis plans to implement 1,042 key projects, with an annual planned investment of 123 billion yuan ($19.3 billion).
The city is expected to introduce more than 300 projects, worth 100 million yuan or more each, and complete investment of over 40 billion yuan in the current year.
