With the establishment of a raft of pocket parks in 2021, some 50 hectares of green space were added.
Pocket parks are a new concept that has evolved in recent years. They are generally created by using undeveloped urban green space, idle land and urban micro-spaces.
Typically, these parks are small-scale public spaces that have practical and flexible uses.
In 2021 alone, the per capita park green space increased by 0.14 square meters in the city.
