Renovation work starts on Hohhot's old residential areas

Construction work has kicked off on 392 old residential areas in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, according to local media reports.
The residential quarters cover an area of 5.3 million square meters in Xincheng district, Huimin district, Yuquan district, Saihan district and other counties and banners under Hohhot's administration.
The planned renovation includes roof work, roads and infrastructure repairs. It also includes upgrades to water supplies, drainage, gas supplies, heating pipe networks, waterproofing and streetlights.
