Hohhot city kicks off 2022 science, technology week

Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, launched its annual science and technology week, with a commencement ceremony held on May 23, according to local media reports.
The week-long event is part of National Science and Technology Week, which runs to May 28. This year's session is being held in nine banners and districts under Hohhot's administration, showcasing the city’s science and technology achievements.
At the commencement ceremony, an exhibition of scientific and technological achievements was staged.
Some 20 exhibitors participated in a form of exhibition board displays, physical exhibitions and a live performance. The content on display covered life and health, food safety, smart agriculture, smart medical care, the smart city, smart property and other fields.
As the main venue of this year's session, the Hohhot Science and Technology Innovation Center will hold a number of activities such as carbon neutral science lectures, technology finance, bank-enterprise matchmaking and other activities within the week.
