Hohhot marks progress in hi-tech business growth
Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has been making stride in facilitating the development of high-tech enterprises, with the number of such enterprises in the city currently standing at 370, according to local media reports.
The annual operating income of high-tech enterprises reached 72.22 billion yuan ($10.7 billion), a year-on-year increase of 21.7 percent.
Last year, Hohhot organized and implemented 176 scientific and technological innovation cooperation projects. Among them, there are two scientific and technological cooperation projects with foreign countries. It has obtained 50 scientific and technological innovation cooperation funds at all levels and types, and has won nearly 216.4 million yuan in funds.
