Town in Hohhot recognized for intangible cultural heritage

Monishan Intangible Heritage Town – located in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – has been selected as a national intangible cultural heritage and tourist attraction project, according to a list released by the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association.
The town is the first museum in the autonomous region to focus on intangible cultural heritage and handicrafts. It is home to an intangible cultural heritage creation area, an exhibition area, experience area and research and study base.
