Hohhot records growth in small, medium-sized enterprises
The city of Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has recorded robust growth in the number of its small and medium-sized enterprises which are referred to as being "professional, elaborate, distinctive and modern", with 27 more added in the city so far this year.
According to the latest statistics available, the number of these enterprises in the city now stands at 41.
They are generally characterized as having strong business performances, advanced science and technology, mature management systems, strong market competitiveness and great development potential.
Moving forwards, plans are for Hohhot to improve its system to cultivate high-quality enterprises and strengthen support, with more precision services for businesses.
At the same time, Hohhot will implement targeted policies and measures to increase assistance for these small and medium-sized enterprises in terms of credit support, advice with listing their shares, entrepreneurship and innovation, recruitment of personnel and developing markets.
This is expected to boost their core competitiveness and in turn bolster the city's economic expansion.
