These days visitors can enjoy an appealing array of Hui-style architecture in Shuimo village in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region. In July, it made it into the first batch of key villages for rural tourism in the region. Shuimo started reconstruction and upgrading its environment in 2012. After three years, 167 dwellings with the Jiangnan Hui style replaced old and dilapidated bungalows. The whole village has now full coverage of greenery and it is fully supplied with natural gas.
