Primary medical institutions reopen for business in Hohhot

2022-11-30

To date, 33 out of the 35 community health service centers in four districts and in the Jinchuan area in Hohhot – capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – have resumed operations of their clinics, with more than 90 percent of the medical staff members having returned to work.

After reopening, the community health service centers can provide community residents with services such as outpatient clinics, prescriptions for chronic diseases and the delivery of medicines by family doctors – and provide residents with necessary examinations and routine reexaminations.

The medical institutions aim to do an efficient job in pre-screenings and triage, while strictly implementing the treatment process for patients with symptoms of COVID-19, such as fever.

Patients are asked to cooperate with epidemic prevention measures such as wearing masks, taking body temperatures, showing health codes and checking for nucleic acid detection negative certification.
