Hohhot city resumes controlled reopening of shops, markets
The city of Hohhot will resume the opening of shops and markets in an orderly manner, in order for the capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region to better coordinate COVID-19 prevention and controls and guarantee daily necessities, local media reported.
Starting Dec 6, business premises have been opened. But excluded from that process are entertainment venues, movie theaters, sports venues, libraries, art galleries and museums – and other indoor public places in the sports, cultural and entertainment industries – as well as A-level scenic spots and education and training institutions.
Catering service units only provide services in the form of takeaways and pick-ups at the doors of stores, and dine-ins are not allowed for the time being.
Production and business premises must carry out comprehensive disinfections on a regular basis and strictly implement epidemic prevention measures such as temperature measurements, health code scanning, 72-hour nucleic acid negative certificates, the wearing of masks and limiting the flow of people.
Residents should pay attention to personal protection. When going to shops and markets, residents are required to wear masks, keep a safe distance and try to use mobile payments when checking out.
