Hohhot signs up 31 major projects worth 60 billion yuan

The city of Hohhot – capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – had a financial field day on Dec 18, when 31 major projects worth 60 billion yuan ($8.6 billion) were signed up at an investment promotions event.
According to local media reports, the projects cover industries such as smart agriculture, green food, clean energy, biomedicines, modern commerce and new materials.
The Hohhot Investment Promotion Alliance was launched at the event, with the Beijing Hohhot Chamber of Commerce and the Inner Mongolia Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce becoming member units of the new body.
