Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has been rated as a Health Tourism City, as announced at a tourism promotion conference in Beijing.
The city won the honor by virtue of its pleasant climate during all four seasons, rich tourism resources, history and culture, and profound urban heritage.
With a history of more than 2,300 years, Hohhot is a national historical and cultural city and is the dividing point between the upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River.
Hohhot is a livable city, and has won many honors, such as being titled a National Forest City and an Excellent Tourist City.
