International agricultural expo opens in Hohhot

The 32nd Inner Mongolia International Agricultural Expo opened on March 12 in Hohhot – capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – attracting the participation of more than 800 companies, according to Hohhot Daily.
The three-day expo, with more than 1,200 stands, displayed products from major regional public brands. It also displayed agricultural materials, water-saving irrigation, agricultural and animal husbandry machinery, smart agriculture, agricultural and forestry products and showcased financial services.
Among those featured, were 276 high-tech projects and 409 patented technology products.

The three-day exhibition has brought in an estimated 120 million yuan ($17.41 million) in economic benefits to Hohhot's catering, accommodation, tourism, entertainment, transportation, logistics, advertising, shopping and other industries.
Founded in 2007, the Inner Mongolia Agricultural Expo has been held twice a year in Hohhot and Chifeng and has been successfully held for 31 consecutive sessions.
With a total exhibition area of 320,000 square meters, more than 30,000 exhibitors, 650,000 visitors and a turnover exceeding 4.5 billion yuan, the expo has become a premier brand agricultural event in North China.
