Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, hosted a promotional event in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality on March 20, promoting its characteristic agricultural and livestock products.

A total of 30 Hohhot-based enterprises participated in the event, showcasing 160 kinds of agricultural and livestock products, including special dairy products from Tumd Left Banner, beef jerky, oats and noodles from Wuchuan county, and millet from Qingshuihe county.

During the event, procurement orders worth 1.82 billion yuan ($266 million) were signed between the bureaus and county governments of Hohhot and 10 enterprises, including China General Technology (Group) Holding Co, Beijing Wright Economic and Trade Development Co, and Chongqing Zhongnong Yuanyang Supply Chain Management Co.
