A prominent China-Russia product matchmaking meeting was held in Hohhot, the capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, to strengthen economic and trade cooperation with Russia, on May 5-7, according to local media reports.

More than 60 companies from China and Russia discussed and negotiated cooperation in food, medicinal materials, logistics, machinery, and tourism.

The Export Center and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Republic of Buryatia reached preliminary cooperation intentions with the Hohhot City Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Hohhot Comprehensive Bonded Zone in the fields of mineral cooperation, timber imports, used car imports, and meat imports and exports.
