Intl agriculture expo comes to a close in Hohhot

The 33rd Inner Mongolia International Agricultural Expo concluded on Aug 18 in Hohhot, the capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
The three-day expo attracted 40,000 visitors, and by 11 am on Aug 18 the intended transaction amount exceeded 1.06 billion yuan ($145 million), with on-site deals reaching 378 million yuan and 646 projects signed.
This year's expo showcased regional public brands, agricultural supplies, water-saving irrigation, greenhouse equipment, smart agriculture, livestock farming, and green agricultural products.
More than 800 agricultural, forestry, animal husbandry, and water enterprises from 25 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country participated, occupying over 1,200 booths. Among them, there were 253 high-tech projects and 378 patented technological products.

The expo provided a platform for industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and farmers to exchange ideas, promote business cooperation, and explore the latest trends and innovations in the agricultural sector.
