Mazongshan Ski Resort begins trial operations

Mazongshan Ski Resort in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, started trial operations on Nov 18, offering 14 ski trails and presenting eight major themes with 23 activities.
Situated in the "Golden Latitude Zone of Ice and Snow," Mazongshan Ski Resort was selected as an autonomous region-level ski tourism destination in 2023 and has been awarded a national 3A-level tourist attraction.

This snow season, which runs from Nov 18, 2023, to March 2, 2024, will last 105 days. Among the 14 open ski trails are four beginner-level trails, six intermediate-level trails, three advanced-level trails, and one fun trail, covering a skiing area of 420,000 square meters.
This year, the ski resort has introduced the "Skiing Express Train" from Hohhot East Station to Beijing North Station, as well as the "Mazongshan Ski Resort Special Line" and "Skiing Bus" from Hohhot, facilitating the transportation of snow enthusiasts to and from the resort.
The ski resort can accommodate up to 8,600 visitors daily and offers night skiing, providing diverse ice and snow experiences for visitors of all ages and skill levels.
