Dairy giant Yili honored with CNCIDF Award for international collaboration

Yili Group was granted approval as the vice chair unit of the new session of the China National Committee of the International Dairy Federation (CNCIDF) at the 2023 working conference of the CNCIDF, hosted by the International Dairy Federation in Beijing. 

For its active contributions to promoting collaboration between China's dairy industry and the global dairy industry, Zhang Jianqiu, senior executive vice president of Yili Group, was presented with the "Award for Advancing International Dairy Industry Collaboration" by the CNCIDF.

In recent years, Yili has made significant progress in expanding its presence in Asia, Europe, Oceania, and the Americas, forming a comprehensive global resource, innovation, and market systems.

In 2014, Yili invested in and established the most extensive integrated dairy base in New Zealand, the Yili Oceania Production Base. By 2018, Yili had acquired Chomthana, Thailand's largest local ice cream company. In 2023, Yili signed a framework agreement for deep collaboration in sustainable development with Conaprole, the largest dairy enterprise in South America.

Over the past decade, Yili has continuously expanded its global health ecosystem with an ever-increasing number of high-quality global partners. Currently, Yili has more than 2,000 global partners distributed across 39 countries on six continents.

At the same time, Yili has been strengthening its global innovation system through collaborations with top universities and research institutions such as Wageningen University, the University of Cambridge, and the National Center ofTechnology Innovation for Dairy. This effort is aimed at building a "Global Smart Chain." Presently, Yili has 15 innovation centers worldwide, researching cutting-edge health topics and enhancing the resilience of the entire industry chain.
