Mazongshan Ski Resort selected as national-level ski tourism destination

Mazongshan Ski Resort, located in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has been selected as part of the third batch of national-level ski tourism resorts.
The ski resort, located in the "Golden Latitude Zone for Ice and Snow", was designated as an autonomous region-level ski tourism destination in 2023 and has been honored with national 3A-level tourist attraction status.
The resort offers an exciting snow season that spans 105 days. With 14 open ski trails, including four beginner-level slopes, six intermediate-level trails, three advanced-level trails, and one fun trail, the skiing area covers an expansive land area of 420,000 square meters.

In a bid to enhance accessibility, the ski resort has introduced the "Skiing Express Train" that connects Hohhot East Station to Beijing North Station, along with the "Mazongshan Ski Resort Special Line" and the "Skiing Bus" that travel from Hohhot. These travel modes streamline transportation for snow enthusiasts to and from the resort.
Capable of hosting up to 8,600 visitors daily, the resort also offers night skiing experiences and ensure a diverse range of ice and snow experiences for visitors of all ages and skill levels.
The inclusion of Mazongshan Ski Resort as a national-level ski tourism destination not only underscores its natural beauty and skiing facilities, but also positions it as a premier destination for winter sports enthusiasts who are seeking thrilling experiences in the heart of Inner Mongolia's snow-covered landscapes.
