Hohhot in Inner Mongolia autonomous region now boasts six prestigious AEO-certified enterprises, giving them the highest in the autonomous region. 

Recently, the Hohhot municipal bureau of commerce and Saihan customs jointly awarded the Advanced Certified Enterprise certificate to Inner Mongolia Fufeng Biotechnology Co. The recognition follows previous certifications awarded to Mengniu Dairy, the Yili Group, Guohe Electric Power, Jinhe Biological and Jinderui Trading Co.

The much-prized AEO, or Authorized Economic Operator status, represents the pinnacle level of certification in China's Customs Enterprise Credit Management System.

Companies with AEO certification benefit from reduced inspections, priority services and simplified procedures from customs, tax authorities and financial institutions within China.

Additionally, they gain international recognition, enhancing their soft power in foreign trade. AEO-certified companies also enjoy simplified and fast-track customs clearances in countries with mutual recognition agreements, helping their expansion into overseas markets.

In recent years, Hohhot has focused on its industrial strengths and foreign trade development by offering targeted support and guidance for AEO certification.
