On Sept 8, Hohhot was recognized for its significant progress in public employment services. In 2022, it was one of the first cities selected for the Public Employment Service Capability Improvement Demonstration Project. Over the past two years, the city has made advancements through various initiatives to enhance skills, stabilize employment, and improve services.
Key projects include the "Yiye Capital (Employment-Friendly Capital)" initiative and the "100,000 College Students Stay in Hohhot Project". These have created programs such as the "Dingxiang Roots" employment brand for graduates, the first national high-skill training base for the dairy industry, and the "Yiye Capital" smart employment service cloud platform. The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security recognized the "100,000 College Students Stay in Hohhot Project" as a 2022 "Local Employment Innovation Event".
Hohhot has implemented a high-standard National Human Resource Service Industrial Park, built a world-leading dairy high-skill talent training base, and developed the "Dingxiang Roots" graduate employment brand. The city's human resources service park has fostered innovation and entrepreneurship by hosting recruitment events and live-streamed job fairs, offering over 13,000 job positions and attracting 340,000 online viewers.
Hohhot has also used technological advancements, including VR training classrooms and digital learning platforms, to support over 20,000 dairy industry professionals. The city has created platforms for college graduate employment and entrepreneurship, with over 110,000 graduates finding opportunities through these initiatives.
