Hohhot pioneers data-driven urban operations with national recognition
On Sept 12, the National Data Bureau unveiled the first batch of "City-Wide Digital Transformation Exemplary Cases" at the urban digital transformation conference in Chongqing. Hohhot's initiative, "Building a Comprehensive Data Service Center to Create a New Urban Operations Model," was recognized as a leading case in innovative urban management.
This year, Hohhot accelerated its efforts to build a data element market by utilizing the Inner Mongolia Data Element Comprehensive Service Center. The city has created a complete ecosystem for data elements by gathering tech firms specializing in data governance, evaluation, and product development alongside third-party professional organizations. This initiative integrates data asset registration, evaluation, trading, and financial services, establishing Hohhot as a regional hub for comprehensive data services.
The center has already issued 26 Data Asset Registration Certificates and provided over 480 consultations to businesses. It also furthers the data asset projects of major enterprises like Baogang Group and Inner Mongolia Power Group.
With this recognition, Hohhot continues to position itself as a leader in data-driven urban operations, offering companies one-stop data services and setting a new benchmark for digital transformation across the region.
