Hohhot-Bangkok intl passenger route resumes operation
The Hohhot-Bangkok international passenger flight route resumed operations with the departure of flight VZ3519. This marks the reopening of Hohhot's sixth international air route for the 2024/2025 winter-spring season, following connections to Ulaanbaatar, Yangon, Nha Trang, and Hong Kong.
Thai Vietjet Air operates the route every Tuesday under flight numbers VZ3518/3519. The relaunch establishes a more convenient and efficient air bridge between Hohhot and Southeast Asia, enhancing the city's role as an international air travel hub and facilitating business, tourism, and cultural exchanges.
To ensure smooth resumption, the Hohhot municipal bureau of commerce (port office) collaborated closely with customs, immigration, airport authorities, and the airline. They organized coordination meetings to streamline operational processes, providing a strong foundation for flights.
The bureau plans to strengthen cooperation with related authorities to improve service support for international flights. Efforts will focus on expanding flight options at Hohhot Baita International Airport and enabling smoother customs and immigration processes, fostering greater connectivity for international travel and economic exchanges.
This resumption is a significant step in boosting Hohhot's international aviation network and promoting regional integration.
