The Short Track Speed Skating Open Tournament, part of the 11th National Mass Ice and Snow Season, began on Dec 15 at the Hohhot Sports Center.

The event, hosted by the Hohhot sports bureau and organized by the Hohhot Sports Center, Hohhot Sports Federation, and the Inner Mongolia Skating Association, celebrates ice and snow sports and offers a platform for skating enthusiasts to showcase their skills and share experiences.

The tournament includes categories for seniors, adults, youths, and children (Group A to Group D) and features 500m and 1000m events.
