Hohhot launches World Consumer Rights Day awareness campaign
Hohhot has organized a variety of events to promote World Consumer Rights Day.
Horinger county's market supervision administration, together with over 10 member units of the county's food and drug safety committee, held a centralized promotional event at Shengle Plaza in Helingeer County on March 13, based on the theme of "enhancing consumer quality". The event educated the public on the relevant laws and regulations, with a focus on topics such as food and drug safety identification.
Saihan district's market supervision administration and the Saihan district consumer association jointly held an integrity promotion and education event on March 15.
The event, held at Baoquan Farmers' Market, featured several informational areas, including services to help identify counterfeit goods, and interactive segments. At the venue, law enforcement officers provided legal consultation services to the public, while volunteer party members distributed informational brochures, educated attendees on their rights, and answered consumer questions. Over 700 pieces of promotional material were distributed, and more than 60 consultations were held with the public.

Hui ethnic district also hosted its Consumer Rights Day- and integrity education- themed event on March 15. That included booths for legal consultation, information dissemination, and on-site complaint handling. Staff members addressed consumer inquiries, explaining ways and methods to protect their rights.
Qingshuihe county's market supervision administration, in collaboration with various member units, also organized a series of consumer rights protection awareness activities. Staff members set up dedicated consultation service desks, displayed themed banners, distributed brochures, and provided detailed answers to public inquiries.
