Hohhot's Science and Technology Association, in collaboration with the science and technology associations of Horinger county and Qingshuihe county, organized agricultural technology experts to provide scientific volunteer services.
At the event site in Horinger county, experts from Inner Mongolia Agricultural University and the Horinger county agricultural and animal husbandry bureau provided detailed explanations and on-site demonstrations on topics ranging from the selection of varieties to environmentally friendly pest control for local staples such as corn.

In Gaomaoquan village, Qingshuihe county, experts from the Hohhot Mengzhong Agricultural Science Research Institute and Inner Mongolia Agricultural University focused on teaching about selecting the best corn varieties, disease prevention, and water-saving irrigation models, taking into account the main local crops and their environmental characteristics.
During the event, scientific outreach materials were distributed to villagers to disseminate knowledge about scientific planting and breeding, and to promote agricultural support policies at the national, autonomous region, and city levels.
Meanwhile, science and technology associations in various banners, counties, and districts continued to build platforms for technological exchange through diverse technology-aiding agricultural activities.
The city's agriculture and animal husbandry bureau also led the city's Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Technology Promotion Center in organizing a city-wide training session on increasing the large-scale unit yield of major grain and oil crops and preparing for spring plowing.
