2026 Hohhot flower viewing season opens
The 2026 "Spring Tour in Inner Mongolia" Flower Viewing Season and Wusutu Apricot Blossom Appreciation event kicked off in Huimin district's Wusutu Apricot Valley on April 16. The event combined natural sightseeing, traditional culture, family interactions, and leisure experiences.

Wusutu Apricot Valley offered immersive experiences from April 16 to 20 such as interactive performances, traditional music concerts, and hanfu parades, allowing visitors to experience a unique blend of traditional culture blending and modern trends amid a sea of flowers.
The event also featured exciting family interactions and educational experiences. A tortoise-themed park made its debut, offering close interactions with animals like rabbits, alpacas, and tortoises. Many kindergartens organized trips giving teachers and students the chance to enjoy the flowers and learn about nature.

This event is a key part of the 2026 "Spring Tour in Inner Mongolia" Flower Viewing Season and a measure by Huimin district to develop the flower-viewing economy, invigorate rural cultural tourism, and accelerate the integration of agriculture, culture, tourism, sports, and commerce.
Moving forward, Huimin district plans to enhance its local agricultural and cultural tourism brand, establish a year-round leisure tourism framework, improve the quality and efficiency of the cultural tourism industry, and support comprehensive rural vitalization.
