Recently, a group of workers have been constructing the main body of an intelligent factory in Nanxun Economic Development Zone in Nanxun district, Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province.

The factory, which belongs to an intelligent manufacturing project with over 1 billion yuan ($143 million) in investment, was scheduled to be in completed and put into use by March 2020.

According to local authorities, in recent years, Nanxun has been focusing on introducing high-end projects, promoting the transformation and upgrading of local enterprises as well as driving the intelligent and green development of local economy.

The district implemented several preferential policies in finance, technology improvement, talent introduction and research and development, among other fields.

Recent results show that the district has attracted a total of 161 projects, reaching 54.5 billion yuan in capital, among which 14 are reported to be worth over 1 billion yuan.

The district has invested 3 billion yuan into a fund committed to the transformation and upgrading of local companies.

In response to the district's policies, Treessun Flooring Co, a leading wood floor producer in China, invested 30 million yuan to attract intelligent technologies and environmentally friendly production facilities and systems.

Treessun was designated as a national-level demonstration enterprise for green supply chain management.

Currently, it is recorded that there are seven green factories with national titles in the district.

Nanxun seeks to enhance the innovative skills of local enterprises, as well as continue to boost the intelligent and green development of the local economy, according to an official in the district's bureau of development, reform, economy and information technology.
