With a mainline length of 88.23 kilometers and a ramp length of 22.77 km, the Huzhou section of the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway (G50) starts from the junction of Huzhou's Nanxun district and Suzhou's Wujiang district in Jiangsu province, and ends at the junction of Huzhou's Changxing county and Guangde county in Anhui province. It opened for traffic on Oct 30, 2006. There are 196 bridges along the section, including five extra-large ones and 56 large ones. In addition to two rest stations in Huzhou and Changxing, there are two interprovincial toll stations and six interflow stations.
