Established in February 1951, Huzhou Maternity & Child Care Hospital is a 3A-grade specialized hospital integrating medical services, teaching, scientific research, maternity and child care, and family planning technical guidance.

With a floor space of 26,558 square meters and a construction area of 85,213 sq m, the hospital has 700 beds and 970 staff members, 182 of who boast senior titles for professional posts.

The hospital has five municipal key disciplines: gynecological endoscopy, prenatal diagnosis, breast disease, neonatal intensive care and reproductive medicine. Prenatal diagnosis is a key discipline jointly developed by the province and the city.
