Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital of Huzhou is one of the earliest established hospitals specializing in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in Zhejiang province. Founded in 1957, the hospital integrates medical services, teaching, scientific research, prevention and health care, and is the affiliated hospital of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University. It also undertakes educational tasks for Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and School of Medicine of Huzhou University.

With nine wards and a hemodialysis center, the hospital has 450 beds. Its Chinese medicine surgery was a key discipline developed by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine during the 11th Five-Year Plan (2006-2010). TCM massage was approved as a key discipline to be developed during the 12th Five-Year Plan (2011-2015). Chinese medicine surgery and snake injuries are provincial key disciplines, while the department of oncology integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine, the TCM lumbago and leg pain specialty, and TCM gynecology are provincial key developed disciplines. Orthopedics is the municipal key discipline in Huzhou.
