Ten scenic spots and tourists resorts in Huzhou were included in the 2019 Zhejiang Culture & Tourism Selection List released on May 13.

Deqing county was selected as one of the Top 10 Counties and Districts for the Integrative Development of Culture and Tourism, Nanxun district was selected as a Demonstration District of Picturesque Zhejiang and of the 1000 Bowls in 100 Counties Program, Moganshan town in Deqing county, Xiaopu town in Changxing county, and Nanxun town in Nanxun district were all selected as "charming towns south of the Yangtze River", the Changxing Wonderland Resort was selected as a special themed hotel, the Changxing Yunqishe Homestay was selected as an Intangible Cultural Heritage Homestay, and the Zhejiang Yuanxiang Culture & Tourism Group was selected as an Innovative Culture & Tourism Group.

The 2019 Zhejiang culture & tourism evaluation program, which started this January, is meant to comprehensively deepen reforms, accelerate transformation and upgrading, and develop Zhejiang into a cultural icon, an attractive tourism destination, and a model for the integrative development of culture and tourism in China. The event has attracted 335 units and projects from 11 cities.
