Danish consul general visits Huzhou

Huzhou in Zhejiang province will join hands with Denmark in terms of eco-friendly economy and city governance, according to a meeting between Jakob Linulf, the Danish consul general in Shanghai, and Wang Gang, mayor of Huzhou, on May 20.
Wang said Huzhou is located in the center of the Yangtze River Delta and boasts superior transport and industry resources while Denmark is not only a top destination for immigration and travel but also a good choice for business and investment.
He hopes the two parties could join hands in fighting against the pandemic, developing eco-friendly economy, as well as culture and tourism.
Linulf spoke highly of Huzhou's history and ecology. He said Denmark has much to learn from Huzhou's practices in green industries and sustainable development. He expressed hopes for more exchanges between Chinese and Danish young people.
The Danish delegation also conducted field studies to the Moon Square in South Taihu New District and Yu village in Anji county during their visit.
