Zhejiang Orient Gene Biotech Co Ltd has recently been approved by the National Medical Products Administration to produce COVID-19 nucleic acid test kits.

Headquartered in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, the company is the first in the city to obtain the qualification and the second in Zhejiang. 

Since the onset of the epidemic, the local municipal market supervision bureau has actively helped local enterprises to reshape their industrial structure. To date, a total of 17 enterprises in the city have obtained the production license for emergency medical devices and registration certificates for emergency medical devices.
