The 3rd International Rose Culture Tourism Festival opened in Daixi town, Wuxing district, Huzhou on June 10, according to local media reports.

This festival was held online for the first time this year, with all activities being broadcast online. Some internet influencers were also invited to promote local products via live stream.

Daixi is known for its developed cosmetics industry, which it has been developing since 2015. It is now home to 103 companies that cultivate raw materials, manufacture products, and engage in tourism.

Even the COVID-19 outbreak did not halt the town's development. A number of cosmetics brands with a combined investment value of over 700 million yuan ($101.4 million), such as TechnicoFlor, have set up operations in Daixi this year. Some cosmetics enterprises have even launched special areas for user experience.

A tourism model combining industrial and ecological tourism has taken shape in Daixi. Facilities revolving around cosmetics, such as a museum, commercial streets, and parks, are also in the pipeline.

In addition, local authorities have made great efforts to foster talent to fuel the growth of the cosmetics industry by partnering with Zhejiang Yuying Education Group and Zhejiang Sci-Tech University.
