Deqing county in Huzhou completed its first cross-border business to business(B2B) e-commerce export on Sept 20.

A total of $28,672 in treadmills manufactured by a local manufacturer of sporting goods completed customs declaration procedures and will be loaded onto a ship in Ningbo, bound for France.

Deqing is the second county in Huzhou to get involved in the B2B e-commerce export business.

On Sept 18, a set of furniture valued at $15,112 was exported from Anji to the United State as a B2B e-commerce export.

A number of customs nationwide have been included in a pilot program to boost B2B e-commerce exports since July 1.

E-commerce B2B exporters benefit from a number of services that traditional exporters do not, including one-time registration, streamlined declarations, expedited and lower-cost clearance, and prior inspection and customs transit services at designated customs nationwide, including the ones in Shanghai and Ningbo.

B2B e-commerce exports are either directly exported goods from domestic businesses to overseas businesses through international logistics channel based on transactions made through a cross-border e-commerce platform, or goods exported by a domestic company to an overseas warehouse, from which the goods will be delivered to overseas buyers based on transactions made through a cross-border e-commerce platform.

The new model allows local exporters to contact overseas enterprises directly, helping them increase profits and reduce risk.

In April, Huzhou was approved as a pilot zone for national cross-border e-commerce.
