Huzhou to add two technician colleges

East China's Zhejiang province recently approved the establishment of a number of technician colleges.

Among the eight vocational schools to be established, two will be in Huzhou, Huzhou Engineering Technician College and Anji Technician College.

Huzhou Engineering Technician College

The establishment of Huzhou Engineering Technician College was approved by the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government in 2014.

It is designed to cultivate and train highly-skilled personnel in the region.

The school spans 413 mu (27.53 hectares) and has a total floorage of 92,000 square meters. It is now composed of five departments focusing on fields including machinery and electronics, commerce and trade, as well as information. 

Anji Technician College

Anji Technician College will be built on the basis of Anji Senior Technical School.

Anji Senior Technical School was one of the first batch of national key schools. It has witnessed a significant improvement in its comprehensive strength over the past 30-plus years.
