Hushan Avenue, a north-south arterial road in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, opened to traffic on Dec 1, local media reports.

The 24-kilometer, six-lane road starts from Changdougang Bridge in Southern Taihu Lake New District and ends at Shenjiabang, Linghu town, Nanxun district.

Its opening will alleviate traffic congestion in its surrounding areas and offer better transportation choices for residents from places including Linghu town, Hefu town and Daochang township.
