Huzhou offers opera lessons to children of non-local workers

Children of non-local workers in Moganshan town, Deiqng county, Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province have recently been taking free opera lessons provided by the local community.
These lessons are part of the local authorities' efforts to enrich the lives of these children who will spend the upcoming Spring Festival in Huzhou with their parents.
Numerous non-local workers have opted to heed the local government's call to spend the holiday in the city and avoid traveling to their hometowns so as to contain the spread of COVID-19.
Many families are spending the Spring Festival in Moganshan town for the first time, according to Jiang Haihong, chairman of the women's federation at the town.
In addition to the opera lessons, the town has created a to-do-list for the children for the holiday period, Jiang said.
