Roses enter flowering period in Huzhou

Rose blossoms have recently come into full bloom at the Austin Rose Garden in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province.

Nestled on the Shangzhu Mountain, the garden houses nearly 150 varieties of roses – 15,500 pots in total – and covers a total of 27,000 square meters.

Some varieties are David Austin Roses were imported from overseas. David Austin has been a world-renowned rose breeder since 1961.

The garden received an influx of flower admirers during the five-day May Day holiday, which ended on May 4.
