Xisai Scientific Valley inaugurated in Huzhou

The Xisai Scientific Valley was inaugurated in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province on Aug 15, local media reported.
The inauguration ceremony held on the sidelines of the 2022 China Green Low Carbon Innovation Conference, which took place in Huzhou, was attended by 11 academicians from home and abroad.
The ceremony also witnessed the signing of agreements for projects in fields including semiconductor and metal materials that will be established in the valley.
Prestigious universities including Xi'an Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University and the University of Science and Technology of China have set up labs in the Xisai Scientific Valley, which has been touted as an engine driving innovation in the Yangtze River Delta, a region encompassing the provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui as well as Shanghai municipality.
Earlier this month, the valley was included in a list of innovative bases released by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST).
